Elexir Strings with NANOWEB 009. - 0042. (electric) Reviews 5

I bought my Elexir electric strings in North Devon, UK, for £11.50. I wanted to try them out, and see if the were any good.

Firstly, the quality of the packet - it looks good. Also, the strings make slides and bends really easy on my guitar (ARIA PRO II Mac 60), and the strings last a lot longer. They give a much brighter tone than other strings I've used, (Ernie Ball, D'Addario, Dean Markley, Rotosound, Fender, GHS). They are a pleasure to use.

The only thing I can think of is the price! At £11.50, they are a lot of money for a set of strings, but then again you get what you for! So really, there not expensive.

The strings are great. I used to have to change my strings every month (I play guitar a lot!!), but now it's about every 3 months. Most players change about every tow months, so the should last up to 3-4 months, depending on ho much you play. The strings don't tarnish so quickly either. I was worried that the coating might effect the sound that the pickup produces, but it only enhances it. Great!

Best strings around. Worth every penny!
